Blog#5: Dancing house

Hi!! I'm Megumi. Today I'll introduce "Dancing house". It is located in Prague. The building was designed in1992 and completed in1996. The official name is "Nationale-Naderlanden building". As you see, the shape of building is so interesting. Do you know what does it stand for??........It stand for a pair of dancers. The curved building stands for dancing woman. The very non -traditional design give rise to discussion at first.

It is used as an office building and it is not open to public.
The dancing shape is supported by 99 concrete panels.

This is the video of dancing house !! If you are interested in this building, check this video!!

  3. Hello, I'm Masako. I was so surprised because of the fact that it expresses two dancers, and it's supported by many concrete panels. In addition, taking 4 years to complete the building is so interesting, isn’t it? I want to see it someday!!
